Boro fans can still get their hands on tickets for next weekend’s Wigan clash after the club announced they had received an additional allocation.
Tickets for the game only went on sale last Wednesday but the club revealed yesterday that the 4,800 allocation has completely sold out.
However, the club has today added that a small number of additional tickets have been received and are now available to buy.
It is thought that around 200 extra tickets were received.
Boro have been backed by huge numbers on the road all season but the trip to Wigan will be the biggest away following since Aitor Karanka was appointed as Boro boss a year ago.
Boro’s boss and players have praised the away fans for their support on numerous occasions already this year with the vocal fans undoubtedly helping the team rack up 16 points out of a possible 24 on the road, the best away form in the Championship
