A man has denied the murder of a woman and two burglaries.
David McCabe, 32, of Barrington Crescent, Middlesbrough, appeared at Teesside Crown Court today pleaded not guilty to the murder of Teresa Ryan between July 8 and 11.
He appeared at Teesside Crown Court today via video link to Holme House Prison for a plea hearing.
He previously denied two burglaries at one home on Worton Street, Middlesbrough.
In the first, it was alleged a television was stolen between June 30 and July 9.
In the second, it was alleged a handbag, money, cigarettes and a mobile phone were stolen on July 9.
Judge Simon Bourne-Arton QC, the Recorder of Middlesbrough, adjourned the case for a trial to start on January 13 next year.
McCabe was remanded in custody.
