A group of female friends from Stockton’s Tilery estate have shown their northern grit by getting their kit off on a freezing cold day.
But the women say it was all worth it as the result was Boobilicious - a cheeky calendar to raise funds in memory of one of the estate’s children.
Posing in a barn in Newby and the surrounding countryside, the women - and a nosey horse - were photographed in a “tasteful and artistic” way.
Lynsey Nutley, 38, from Tilery in Stockton, said: “My mam had the idea but it was Reagan who inspired it.
“It was freezing and embarrassing at first but once you did the first one, we had a laugh.”
She said the women gathered together the night before for a spray tan and a giggle over their poses.
Money raised from the calendar will go to Ward 15 and the neonatal unit of the University Hospital of North Tees.
“They have helped us so if we can help them we can,” she said.
The calendar features 12 women aged from 18 to 63 but the group has only got a proof made so far.
They are hoping a local business will come forward to print the calendars for them. Anyone interested in doing so can contact Lynsey and Julie via the Gazette on 234296 or email: sarah.dale@trinitymirror.com.
