Jonathon Taylor: Boro will slip up a couple more times yet - but it won't prove fatal

More than 2,300 Boro fans have taken part in our poll that maps out the club's remaining fixtures.

We want to see how confident Boro fans are that their team will go on and win promotion with our ten to go survey.

Using the poll below you can predict the outcome of Boro 's remaining games, starting at home to Ipswich on Saturday, and also give us your guess on how the top six will look come full time on May 2.

The survey will stay open until 12pm on Wednesday.

It's amazing how quickly fans' confidence can be sapped after a few bad results.

It's understandable, but despite quick-fire defeats to Leeds United, Sheffield Wednesday and Nottingham Forest, I don't think there's any need for Boro fans to worry.

Every team in the Championship has a bad run or a few suspect results.

Derby squandering two points against Birmingham, Norwich losing to Wigan, Bournemouth beaten at Leeds and Brentford. It's nothing new.

I don't think Boro have been playing particularly badly recently.

Aitor Karanka's side carved out plenty of chances against Leeds, and then against Nottingham Forest it was a game of very fine margins. They deserved a point.

Sheffield Wednesday's Atdhe Nuhiu scores Wednesday's opening goal

It was only at Hillsborough that Boro badly underperformed - and I don't think the pitch or the 3-5-2 helped that.

So it's prediction time - and although I think Boro will slip up a couple more times, I don't think it will be fatal. I reckon Karanka's men will finish second if they can win six of their last 10 matches.

I predict 20 points out of the last 30.
