Reeves and Mortimer fans are today eagerly awaiting details of the comedy duo's first live tour in 17 years.
Bob Mortimer tweeted to his followers this weekend that those who follow him on the social media platform will receive booking priority.
The North-east funnymen confirmed last month that they had tour dates planned for November and December.
However, the 55-year-old also warned that fans needed to be quick off the mark, saying: “Not massive venues, be quick.”
Acklam-born Boro fan Bob said the tour at the end of the year is to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the show which made their name, Vic Reeves’ Big Night Out.
Speaking to BBC Radio 2 presenter Simon Mayo, the comic said: “Yeah, we’re doing a tour in November, December - “25 years of Vic and Bob, The Poignant Moments” it’s called.
“We’ll be presenting a palaver - all the favourite things we’ve done over the years.”
And Bob hinted it won’t necessarily be an expensive production.
“We’ve got a very long stick, some costumes and wigs - it’s back to the way we used to do it,” he said.
“We just used to do it ourselves. We wore costumes, wigs and just ran on and off.
“We’ll be doing everything, little bits from the shows we’ve done since Big Night Out.”
Plans for a series of live dates in Leeds in 2011 were scrapped on cost grounds.
Brighton-based Teessider Bob - awarded an honorary degree from Teesside University last year - spoke to the Gazette in January about his long-term love affair with Middlesbrough Football Club.
He said: “Many years later, I tried to get my kids interested in football.
Living down south, I took them to Arsenal, Chelsea - it was silent and they were bored stiff.
“Now, thank goodness, they are very big Boro fans, because we’ve gone to some away games where the atmosphere has been fantastic.”
