The Prime Minister David Cameron will be in Northumberland’s Berwick and Teesside’s Stockton-on-Tees on the General Election campaign trail, and says a vote for Labour will “cast a shadow over the region once more”.
He will tell voters the economy is growing and say infrastructure is a priority for the next Government while highlighting the Coalition’s commitment to dual the A1 from Newcastle to Ellingham. He will also say that Sunderland’s Nissan is a major North East success story.
