Former Boro boss Tony Mowbray is keen on taking charge at League One side Coventry City, according to reports in the Midlands.
The odds on Mogga replacing Steven Pressley in the Ricoh Arena hotseat tumbled yesterday with the ex-Boro gaffer now 5/4 favourite with the bookies.
And Mowbray, who knows the area well from his time in charge of West Brom, is said to view the the vacancy at the Sky Blues as a great opportunity to stabilise a big club, who are struggling in the League One relegation zone.

Sources close to Mowbray say the 51-year-old, who has been out of work since leaving Boro in October, 2013, would "have to consider it because of the history and stature of the football club", according to the Coventry Telegraph.
Mogga has previously stated his ambition to manage in the Championship again but, with turbulent times off the field hopefully a thing of the past at Coventry City, he would be confident of keeping the club in League One this season and building on that in the next campaign.
Current caretaker manager and former Leeds United boss Dave Hockaday, also a Boro fan, is the second favourite with the bookmakers with James Beattie, Uwe Rossler and Dennis Wise also in the running.
After a year out of the game following his Boro departure, Mogga admitted he was ready for a return to management.
He was linked with the Leeds United and Wigan Athletic jobs and was reportedly on the shortlist for vacancies at both Huddersfield and Bolton earlier in the campaign.
