Stockton Town reached their third cup final of the season by beating Spennymoor Town Reserves 4-2 at home in the semi-finals of the Wearside League Cup.
Michael Dunwell’s side will play Easington in the final after they came from behind to beat Moors’ second string and the Colliery thrashed Richmond Town 3-0 in the other semi-final.
Kallum Hannah gave Town the lead with an overhead kick, but they trailed after Ross Morrow and Ian Ward replied for the visitors.
Tom Coulthard equalised from close range on the stroke of half-time to make it 2-2.
Town then ran away with it in the second half with Chris Stockton getting the third and Coulthard adding their fourth.
Redcar Athletic lost 2-1 at Cleator Moor Celtic in the league after starting the game with 10 men and finishing it with nine.
Jamie Lee, Alex Anderson and Lee Blackburn got stuck in the traffic jam caused by a caravan overturning on the A66 just outside Penrith.
Redcar were in front by the time the delayed trio arrived, as Sam Webster fired in an unstoppable 18th minute shot from 20 yards.
Cleator Moor scored a fortunate equaliser just before half-time through Tom Mahone’s wind-assisted corner.
Lee was then sent off for two bookings having been allowed to enter the fray midway through the first half.
Redcar were then further reduced in numbers when Webster was sent off for a second yellow.
And they were denied a battling point as Luke Close fired in a thunderous late dipping shot from 35 yards.
Midfielder Glen Lancaster had to go in goal as Wolviston got turned over 4-0 at Ashbrooke Belford House.
