Businesses are gearing up for Teesside’s largest business networking event this summer.
The date has been revealed for the 2015 Tees Valley Business Summit, which will take place on July 8 at Teesside University in Middlesbrough.
Now in its fourth year, the event at the university’s Olympia Building is set to be the largest yet - with more exhibitors, seminars and networking opportunities than before.
More than 900 delegates visited last year’s summit, which is organised by Local Enterprise Partnership Tees Valley Unlimited. It also attracted 85 exhibitors and featured 20 information packed seminars plus keynote speaker presentations.
TVU said the event gives attendees the opportunity to meet peers and new business contacts, while also gaining straightforward advice from industry experts across sectors vital to the area’s economic wellbeing.
Stephen Catchpole, Managing Director of Tees Valley Unlimited, the Local Enterprise Partnership for Tees Valley, said: “Tees Valley Business Summit now is firmly established as a flagship event in the area’s business events calendar.
“The 2015 Summit promises to be even bigger and better than ever. It will provide an ideal platform to network and build new relationships, help showcase the business talent and skills available in Tees Valley and industry experts will impart useful sector knowledge and intelligence.”
Exhibitors offering a wide range products and services will be attending, alongside support organisations that can provide practical advice and assistance about business development.
Delegates will be able to meet, discuss, challenge and develop their commercial knowledge through a series of workshops and one-to-one meetings with both sector peers and nationally recognised service providers.
