Blackpool have added to their squad in time for tonight's game with Boro by signing Sheffield Wednesday striker Gary Madine on loan until the end of the season.
The 24-year-old Geordie striker spent time at Boro as a schoolboy before starting his professional career at Carlisle United.
Madine has been on loan at Coventry City this season and is looking forward to testing himself in the Championship again.
"As soon as I got the phone call and I heard Lee Clark was interested, I couldn't say no really," Madine told Blackpool's official website.
"I've been out on loan in League One and as every professional footballer will say, you play at the highest level you can."
Madine, who was born in Gateshead, has scored 26 times in 101 appearances for Sheffield Wednesday.
He told Blackpool's YouTube channel he couldn't think of anything better than scoring the winner against Boro tonight.
