Israeli police attack Palestinian worshipers in morning raid on Aqsa Mosque

The Israeli occupation police on Monday morning stormed the Aqsa Mosque’s courtyards and embarked on attacking Palestinian worshipers.

One of the Mosque’s guards phoned Anadolu news agency during the events and said that a large number of police troops raided the Mosque and extensively fired stun and tear gas grenades into the grey-domed Mosque to force out everyone inside.

He added that the worshipers responded by throwing shoes and other things at the police forces to ward off their wanton attack.

The guard also said that this raid on the Mosque was aimed at evacuating all Palestinian worshipers from the Islamic holy place in order to make way for Jewish groups and individuals to defile it the next day to commemorate the anniversary of the destruction of the alleged temple
