A man is being treated for a head injury after he was hit by a car in Redcar.
Emergency services were called at 7.17am this morning after reports of the collision on Corporation Road.
A Cleveland Police spokeswoman said the man, believed to be aged between 30 and 40, is currently being treated for a head injury.
Corporation Road is currently closed in both directions between Kirkleatham Lane and Mersey Road.
