Villarreal are the visitors as Boro round off their pre-season at the Riverside.
Other than the defeat to Lucena, it's been a successful build up to the new campaign for Aitor Karanka's side who have now won four on the bounce.
It's the first time Boro have faced Villarreal since the UEFA Cup clash 10 years ago.
And the Boro boss will be hoping his side will be boosted with a good performance and result against the Spanish top-tier opponents.
