Wearside League: Free-scoring Stockton Town still at summit on goal difference

Stockton Town remain top of the Wearside League on goal difference.

The champions annihilated Ashbrooke Belford House 6-1 at home, although there was little to choose between the sides until Stockton scored four goals in a rampant five minute spell at the end of the first half.

Chris Stockton scored a hat-trick and Max Craggs and Kallum Hannah were on target before Tony Johnson struck late.

Redcar Athletic have now won all three of their league games after sinking 10-man Sunderland West End 5-0.

Jamie Lee’s header sent Redcar on their way. Michael Woodhouse, Luke Woodall, Adam Preston and Lance Skelton were their other scorers. Wolviston were thrashed 5-0 at Easington Colliery.
