An exotic array of animals - including lizards, toads, snakes and even a scorpion - enthralled families in a fun half-term event.

The event, named Jay’s Animal Encounters, took place at Calf Fallow Farm in Norton, home of the Daisy Chain charity for families affected by autism.

And the chance to get to hold of a really wild collection of fasinating creatures delighted all those attending.

Gabriel Marshall, Sameer Khan, Aleena Ali, Neve Short, Rayhan Ali and Liam Ford were among those with beaming smiles as they posed for photos with Jay Gunn’s creepy collection of critters.

Founded in 2003, Daisy Chain supports and provide acitivity groups for those affected by autism, with the farm providing a fun, safe and friendly environment, where children can be themselves without the anxiety.

The animal event was one of several being held at Daisy Chain during the half-term break.
