Burglars take vintage gold and pearl jewellery from Middlesbrough home


Burglars stole a haul of vintage gold and pearl jewellery from a house in Teesside.


Police are appealing for information after a large quantity of items was taken from a house in Sandy Flatts Court in Acklam.


The break-in happened between 10am and 1pm on Friday, November 28 and the items stolen included a 20 inch men’s thick gold fox link chain, 24 carat gold single band wedding ring from the 1930s, a gold bracelet from the 1940s or 50s, a number of other gold earrings and a freshwater pearl necklace.


If anyone has been offered these items for sale or knows who was responsible for the burglary, they are asked to contact Det Cons Tom Sewell or Det Sgt Helen Wilson on the non emergency number 101.
