Israeli forces detain 7 Palestinians in Hebron



HEBRON (Ma’an) – Israeli forces detained seven young Palestinian men from Surif town, Beit Ommar and the al-Fawwar refugee camp after raiding their houses in Hebron district on Sunday.


Israeli forces raided Surif northwest of Hebron, ransacked several houses and detained three Palestinians identified as Ahid Mohammed Othman Abu Fara, Ayman Mohammed Ali Baradeah, and Eid Husni Abu Rish, local sources said.


In al-Fawwar refugee camp, Israeli forces detained Faris Adil Titi, Yaman Khashan Omar and Ibrahim Yusuf al-Sarahin. Locals said Israeli troops raided the home of Mouhamed Fawzi Wawi and damaged the interior of the house.


Israeli forces raided the house of Fakhry Ikhlayyil in Beit Ummar early morning searching for his son Montaser, 23. Israeli forces forced the family members to lead them to Montaser’s place of work where he worked as a night watchman before they detained him, a spokesman for Beit Ummar local committee against the separation wall and settlements Mohammad Ayyad Awad said
