How long have you been at the pub? 10 years.
What’s your recent history as a landlord? Before this I worked as a chef in top class kitchens across London, and then in the prison service.

Tell us why you think your pub is one of the best on Teesside: Our pub is friendly, inviting and relaxing with a popular support from the local community.
We host charity events supporting local charities such as Butterwick Hospice, and we have raised in excess of £10,000.
What’s your most popular meal? Our meal deal of a burger, chicken burger or a parmo in a bun for £5.99. We also offer two for £10 Sunday carveries and £1 meals on Tuesday evenings.
What is your most popular night and why do you think it is? We have a good crowd on Saturday nights that come to see our resident DJ, Jazzy Jeff, and we have live bands performing on the last Friday of the month.
Our function room is very popular and used all year round - we can tailor any requirement our customers’ needs.
