A woman was attacked and robbed as she walked through an alleyway.
The 59-year-old victim was walking on Bournemouth Avenue, from an alleyway at Pritchett Avenue, in Ormesby when the assault happened.
As the woman walked, a man on a bike wearing all black rode past and dragged her to the floor, pulling her bag from her shoulder.
The victim has been left with a bruised hip and an on-going mobility problem.
The assault took place at about 10.30pm on Sunday, March 1 but Cleveland Police has only released details of the incident today.
