Dominic Shaw: It will come down to goal difference but Boro will just do enough to secure promotion

More than 2,000 Boro fans have taken part in our poll that maps out Boro's remaining fixtures.

We want to see how confident Boro fans are that their team will go on and win promotion with our ten to go survey.

Using the poll below you can predict the outcome of Boro 's remaining games, starting at home to Ipswich on Saturday, and also give us your guess on how the top six will look come full time on May 2.

The survey will stay open until 12pm on Wednesday.

Shut outs are pivotal, goals are crucial - I reckon the promotion race will come down to goal difference.

And I think Boro will edge into the Premier League with Stevey Mac's Derby - just.

Tremendous.

Yes, Boro's run-in has a particularly brutal look to it. Never mind the Week of Destiny, we've got testing trips to Norwich and Watford to come as well.

But we're not the only side to face daunting games in the final 10 fixtures. And we're not the only side to stumble of late.

Taking a sip from my half-full cup of tea I've got Boro to win every home game from now until the end of the season.

The slip-ups will come at Watford and Norwich but three wins out of the last four will do it. I dread to think what the accumulation of heart-rates at the Riverside will reach in those last few fixtures.

A scan and prediction of the remaining fixtures for all the promotion chasing sides and I've got Boro, Derby and Watford to all finish on 86 points with Bournemouth a point behind and Norwich another point worse off.

There is, of course, every chance the Championship will do what it does best and chuck up an anomaly. But that could happen to every side. There will be a few curveball results to raise eyebrows before the season is out.

I just hope they play out in Boro's favour.
