Boro's game at Fulham on the penultimate weekend of the season could yet be selected for Sky coverage

Boro's game at Fulham on the penultimate weekend of the season could get changed if it's selected for television coverage - but Sky bosses won't confirm until Monday, March 16.

If chosen, the game which is currently scheduled for Saturday, April 25 (3pm KO), could get moved to a 12.15pm kick-off or even to the Friday or Monday night.

It means Boro fans who have already bought their train tickets for the game face an anxious wait to see if Boro will be on the box yet again, following the decision to screen the games against Ipswich, Watford, Bournemouth and Norwich.

And those who are yet to organise travel arrangements will have to wait until just six weeks before the game when the Football League announce which four games they will televise in the final two weekends of the season.

Given the fact it's the London Marathon the day after Boro's game at Fulham, train prices by that time will be sky high. They're already more expensive than usual for a weekend return to the capital.

The Football League will screen two games on the penultimate weekend and two more games on the final day of the season, however the selections for the season finale won't be made until Monday, April 27.
