Cast your memory back to February 2012 - the last time England Under-21s were roared on at the Riverside.
Stuart Pearce’s side battered the Belgians 4-0 in front of 22,647 Teessiders, a result that effectively secured England’s Euro 2013 play-off place.
The England team boasted the likes of Jordan Henderson, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Michael Dawson, with all three going on to clinch full international caps.
But it was Arsenal youngster Henri Lansbury who caught the eye, smashing in a 35-yard screamer to set England on their way after nine minutes.
Steven Caulker then headed England into a 2-0 lead, before Lansbury and Oxlade-Chamberlain both netted to complete a comprehensive win.
Tonight England Under-21s look to defend their unblemished record at the Riverside, as they host Germany.
Boro's Ben Gibson is set to start for Gareth Southgate's men, with more than 30,000 expected to watch tonight's encounter.
