A body has been found at a home in central Middlesbrough.
A police van and car were seen outside an address on Southfield Road this morning.
A Cleveland Police spokeswoman said: “Police were called to a report of a sudden death at around 8.20am this morning.
“The body of a 65-year-old man was found inside a property on Southfield Road, Middlesbrough.
“There are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death and a file will be prepared for the coroner.”
The property is close to the National Tyres garage at the Marton Road end of Southfield Road, on the corner of Talbot Street.
